An Analysis of the Assembling and Merchandising of Grain to Fit the Multiple-Car Train Concept in North Dakota
This study involved two major objectives: 1) determination of necessary size and optimum volume handled of grain merchandising facilities (subterminals) required to take advantage of potential changes in the transportation industry, primarily rail and truck; and 2) definition of impacts of those changes upon the existing grain merchandising system of North Dakota.
