PROCEEDINGS: CONFERENCE ON INTERCITY BUS TRANSPORTATION. REMARKS OF SHELDON G. STRICKLAND
It would appear that the administrative requirements for intercity bus subsidy are so severe that a subsidy program would be impractical if not impossible to administer. Nevertheless, other federal programs faced with identical problems are succeeding and a subsidy program also could be administered successfully. (Author)
