SHARED-SPACE STREETS
PIHAKADUT
The shared-space street-pedestrian-road is a new concept in street area planning. Soon Finland will have shared-space streets, because the new road traffic act in Finland contains the traffic rules for such streets and the statute on road traffic includes a new traffic sign. So far there is no Finnish report on experiences gained abroad of shared-space streets. This report is a contribution to the discussion on the design of such a Finnish street. (TRRL)
