BARRIER SYSTEMS: SESSION 8 (NEVADA'S EXPERIENCES WITH HIGHWAY NOISE BARRIERS)
Several types of barriers are currently being used for the abatement of highway traffic noise. Earth berms and concrete block walls are two types of barriers that have been used by the Nevada Department of Highways. This paper describes the Department of Highway's experience with each type of barrier.
