U.S. AUTOMAKERS EASE TOWARD CAD/CAM
Computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) mean increased productivity, reduced lead times, increased standardization of design and smoother transition from design to manufacturing. This article briefly examines the CAD/CAM programs of Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.
