NETWORK EVALUATION USING TRANSYT
This article describes the analysis of a fairly large-scale network improvement: construction of a new river bridge, establishment of a one-way couplet, and signalization changes in the central area of a small city (Ottawa, Illinois). The major study tool is the TRANSYT computer simulation and signal optimization model adapted to provide a range of outputs for network evaluation.
