DOPPLER SPATIAL COORDINATES TRANSFORMED TO LOCAL DATUM PHI-LAMBDA-H AND UTM COORDINATES COMPUTED FROM LOCAL DATUM POSITIONS
The Hewlett-Packard 41CV program discussed in this paper for transforming Doppler spatial coordinates to local datum latitude (phi), longitude (lambda) and ellipsoid height (H) will be useful when horizontal control is established by Doppler translocation. The program also computes UTM coordinates, if required, for the local datum position obtained from the Doppler coordinates. Complete documentation of the program is given, along with example computations and a printout of the program steps. This program is the result of discussions held at the coordinate systems workshop of the Geodetic Symposium on Satellite Doppler Positioning, Las Cruces, N.M., February 8-12, 1982.
