EXPERIMENTS ON THE POSSIBILITY OF REPROCESSING MATERIAL FROM THE SCARIFICATION OF A FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT
ESPERIENZE SULLA POSSIBILITA DI RIGENERAZIONE DI MATERIALE PROVENIETE DALLA FRESATURA DELLO STRATO SUPERFICIALE DI UNA PAVIMENTAZIONE FLESSIBLE
This article describes laboratory tests (Marshall test, and aggregate grading) on bituminous materials recovered from the scarification of pavements and intended for reprocessing and re-use. Results of the tests confirm the technical feasibility and economic advantages of recycling, but further confirmation is still required regarding the performance and durability of these materials in service.
