APPLICATION OF MODERN MICROELECTRONICS ON RAILROAD VEHICLES

The use of microelectronic equipment in various fields is considered, with special emphasis on railroad vehicles. Pertinent hardware and software possibilities are discussed, along with solutions to resulting problems. Tests carried out on an underground multiple unit are reported.
