This publication is devoted entirely to articles on bridges, with the aim of showing the diversity and originality of the metal bridges now being built in France (spans, structures), and also of showing the specific possibilities of these bridges (high clearance, economy, durability, aesthetic appearance) through practical examples such as the large-scale road underpasses and rail bridges at Chapsal on the Boissy-St-Leger Regional Express line, Empalot over the Garonne and Cergy over the Oise.
