REVISIONS AND TECHNOLOGICAL UPDATING OF THE WASHINGTON, DC METRO SYSTEM LIGHTING
Changes in the lighting proposed for the Washington, DC Metro System lighting in order to provide improved illumination levels throughout stations and their environs while reducing energy consumption and life cycle costs are described. In particular, exterior lighting, interior station lighting, downlights, escalatorway downlighting pylon lighting fixtures, and supplemental escalator lighting are detailed.
