NEW JOHNSTOWN BUS CENTER KEEPS "TRANSIT IN LIMELIGHT"
A transit terminal, built in tandem with public and private development, has given Cambria County Transit Authority (CCTA) a boarding and transfer center in Johnstown, Pa. The Main Street East Transit Center has 8 sawtooth loading stalls which accommodate 224 arrivals on weekdays. The $600,000 CCTA terminal is adjacent to office and parking elements which were privately and publicly constructed, respectively. The complex is seen as a vital feature in assuring continued development of the central business district.
