HOLOGRAPHY

Paper provides a survey of some applications of optical holography to applied mechanics. A brief introduction is given to holography and a description of specific techniques widely used in this field is provided. Examples of the applications are given to demonstrate this usefulness in the study of typical problems such as vibration analysis and structural analysis.
