THE REACTIONS ON THE SYSTEM OF SECTOR CONTROLLED THYRISTOR VEHICLES
NETZRUCKWIRKUNGEN SEKTORGESTEUERTER THYRISTORFAHRZEUGE
In order to improve the power factor, and to reduce the electro-magnetic effect on the environment, in the case of thyristor motive-power units, a contribution is made by the new blow-out, thyristor current-rectifier, contact, particularly as an unsymmetric, semi-controlled, singlephase bridge. The method of operation is shown by means of model experiments, and a brief report is given concerning tests carried out on a series 420 German Federal Railway motive-power unit.
