ORE QUESTION C 149 AERODYNAMIC MEASUREMENTS IN THE HEITERSBERG TUNNEL

This report describes the aerodynamic measurements taken in the tunnel with trains passing each other. The measured values were recorded in both trains and also equipment installed in the tunnel. Nine cases of passing trains were studied with different pressure distribution histories and different overlapping of pressures. The values which are critical as regards hearing are presented, and empirical characteristics data for the further theoretical treatment of the problem are provided.
