ORE QUESTION E 139 NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATION PROCEDURES INSPECTION OF RAILS IN THE TRACK
This report describes, for several Railways, the means, methods and results of rail inspections in the track. The comparative analysis shows that all the Railways who practice rail inspection use the ultrasonic techniques, but that certain disparity exists in the type of means, their use and also in the presentation of results.
