WEAK POINTS OF CARS 1983. PERIODIC INSPECTIONS 1982. MAKE BY MAKE ACCOUNT OF THE DEFECTS IN PASSENGER CARS OF THE 1976, 1978 AND 1980 MODELS, AND ALSO THE 1972 MODELS
Sweden's Vehicle Act stipulates that all registered vehicles and trailers must be inspected annually from the second year after that of the year model designation, with special rules concerning the inspection time and interval for emergency vehicles, public passenger transport vehicles and hire cars. The statistics presented in this report are derived from these inspections and take the form of relative observation frequencies and percentages for different main systems and subsystems and for different kinds of vehicles. "Weak points" are indicated by high observation frequencies. (TRRL)
