WORLD'S FIRST COMMERCIAL LNG BARGE
A description is given of the world's first commercial LNG barge. This unmanned stern-notched barge, which is designed with a 400-hp bow thruster, will be transported by a tug equipped with an elevating pilot house. The design of the barge, as well as a discussion of the concepts behind the design, and a description of the operation of the cargo systems, are all included in the article.
