MARINE USE OF REINFORCED PLASTICS

While the virtual takeover of the boatbuilding industry is well known, there are many other marine applications where the inherent properties of GRP are suited. Lessons learned in boatbuilding are now being applied to such new areas. Case histories considered include--submarine superstructures, hydrofoil yachts, drilling rigs, and miscellaneous marine applications.
