RATIONAL METHOD OF TESTING GAS TURBINE PLANTS
A simple and effective method of determining indices of gas-turbine plants of various types in the course of tests is presented. Among these indices are: turbine inlet temperature, the flowrate of the working medium, as well as the capacity (load) of the plant or of its driving units and the heat (fuel) consumption. The method of balances with equations for heat balance for the combustion chamber and the shaft balance is applied. Examples of calculations are given.
