MARINE ESG NAVIGATION AS A CAPABILITY FOR THE PRESENT
The development program and hardware for an ESG (Electrostatically Suspended Gyro) Navigation System now being developed for marine application are described. It includes discussion of tradeoffs leading to the selected design as well as a description of the completed system hardware. System software requirements are presented along with schedules for planned system evaluation testing.
