In this paper the traffic safety situation is shown for state roads during 1970-1979. Trends are shown for all accidents, accidents weighted according to costs, fatal accidents, injury accidents and vehicle kilometres. An example is shown of how the traffic safety situation might have been affected by different measures. (TRRL)
