SIMULATION OF RIDING DYNAMICS OF ONE-AXLE TRAILERS AND TRAILER COMBINATION

SIMULERING AV FAERDDYNAMIK HOS ENAXLIGA SLAEPVAGNAR OCH SLAEPVAGNSKOMBINATIONER

This report describes a pack of programs written in FORTRAN. This pack consists of two parts: TRIS and DRAS. FRIS can be used to simulate movements of one axle trailers in two co-ordinates with the side-movement of the tow hook as input. DRAS can be used to simulate the movements of one axle trailer combinations (for example: car + caraban) in four co-ordinates with the deflection of the steering wheel as input. FRIS as well as DRAS are general so far that the input and data for the vehicle can be chosen randomly. The influence of side wind and centrifugal force when driving on a curve can be studied.
