IRONSTONE GRAVELS IN EASTERN THAILAND
Aerial photography interpretation techniques were used to locate ironstone gravels in Thailand. Details are given of the geology, geomorphology, vegetation, land use and climate of the country. The formation of laterites is outlined, and the physical properties (grading, consistency, maximum dry density, CBR) are indicated. (TRRL)
