RECONSTRUCTING LONDON'S UNDERGROUND

Sections of London's Underground are a century old, and continuous reconstruction and improvement has been in progress for the last 50 years. LT's former Chief Civil Engineer gives a fascinating account of how this updating has been carried out while keeping traffic moving.
