A SINGLE POINT MOORING TOWER FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING SHIPS
A single point mooring tower for loading and unloading ships through a submarine line has a number of elongated variable buoyancy compartments depending from a surface floatation compartment. The tower is anchored at its lower end to provide a highly stable platform at its upper end.
