A SINGLE-POINT MOORING AND LOADING SYSTEM
A single-point mooring and loading system, especially from submerged crude oil or natural gas accumulation tank, includes a floating terminal, a loading boom pivotally mounted on the terminal at one end, provided with a flotation tank at the other, and consisting of a pair of legs which coverge at the flotation tank; a fluid path from the terminal to one of the legs; a loading hose attached to the outer end of the leg; and a device for mooring a vessel on the flotation tank. The second leg of the loading boom may be used to store the hose.
