VEHICLE DESIGN: THEIR RELATION TO SAFETY
The role of automotive safety engineering in traffic safety is outlined. Major developments in vehicle safety devices such as brakes, safety glass, body structure, sealed beam headlights, and facilities for safe operation and better handling with minimum driver fatigue are described.
