SAFETY MANAGEMENT IN ROAD TRANSPORT - ROAD USER ASPECTS
The author identifies different road users found to have been involved in road accidents and categorises them as pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and bus passengers. Safety aspects of different categories of road users have been discussed and suggestions made for providing facilities for safe movement. Safety education and enforcement are considered essential.
