A SINGLE-POINT MOORING SYSTEM

A single-point mooring system comprises a buoy anchored to the sea bottom and a floating wharf which can move around the buoy horizontally and vertically. The buoy and the wharf may be joined by rigid struts, which may be tied to one place on the buoy and to two separate points on the wharf. The struts may have flexible hinges, one at each end, and with each comprising a central pivot passing through a hole in a pivot plate, which may be mounted between two deformable protective units mounted on the central pivot.
