SULFUR IS TRANSPORTED THROUGH A PIPELINE

Sulfur is transported through a pipeline without sticking, agglomeration, or plugging of the line by injecting 10-75% of molten sulfur into 90-25% of a petroleum distillate or condensate having a viscosity in the range of gasoline to a heavy lubricating oil fraction, mixing the resulting slurry with 0.1-10% of crude oil, and injecting the mixture into a pipeline.
