IN PIPELINES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUID HYDROCARBONS
In pipelines for the transportation of liquid hydrocarbons, especially crude oil or its fractions, friction is reduced by injecting into or adding to the hydrocarbons 10-2000 ppm of an ethylene-propylene block copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of 5-15 in decalin at 150 C.
