OPERATIONAL CONTROL CENTER OF RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM IN STUTTGART, WEST GERMANY

BETRIEBSLEITZENTRALE S-BAHN STUTTGART

With the operational control center, an installation has been realized, which permits supervising of the running of trains on the whole network. On 16 color monitors for the rapid transit system and the long distance line the sequence of operations concentrated before by a process computer system is presented. In addition to positioning of trains, the temporal situation with regard to the stored theoretical time table (delays and premature runs) is indicated.
