A BUOY FOR SUPPORTING OR IMMERSING SUBMARINE PIPELINES
A buoy for supporting or immersing submarine pipelines comprises a cylindrical tank divided into upper and lower compartments, a system in the lower compartment for flooding it, a tube in the upper part of the lower compartment passing through the upper compartment and ending in a plug at the upper end for controlling air evacuation, and a pipe passing from the upper compartment through the lower compartment to the outside through a water inlet chamber which controls the filling of the upper chamber.
