WOONERVEN - AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE EXPERIENCE
WOONERVEN - EEN ONDERZOEK NAAR DE BELEVING
From a survey in Nijmegen it appears that the attitude of Woonerf residents is mainly determined by their appreciation of the residential quality, the latter mainly being interpreted in terms of how the environment looks. This result shows that the overall attitude towards the Woonerf is not primarily determined by the new traffic regime (i.e. equal rights for all road users). The opinion on traffic within the Woonerf is not entirely positive, but it has little effect on the final judgement. (TRRL)
