ENGINEERING ECONOMICS OF UNDERGROUND ROCK EXCAVATION
Engineering economics is normally concerned with the structure and financial appraisal of development projects. This paper draws attention to certain aspects of operational research which may not be familiar to some engineers and which may be useful to those concerned with the engineering economics and design of projects involving large permanent underground excavations in hard rock.
