P.I.T. STOP: NOVEL INSERVICE TRAINING FOR DRIVERS
A new training program is helping school bus drivers and administrators deal with two traditional problem areas: discipline and communication. This inservice program, referred to as Personnel Inservice Training (P.I.T. Stop), includes the central office, the principal's office, the classroom and the transportation department. The problems experienced by each of these sectors are organized into specific problem statements. For each problem, activities are suggested which might ease the problem. Costs in terms of time and money are minimal.
