THE EFFECTS OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INJURIES AS A MOTIVE FOR SUICIDE
POSLEDICE SAOBRACAJNOG POVREDJIVANJA KAO MOTIV SAMOUBISTVA
By presenting four cases of suicide that occurred in the Belgrade Institute for Forensic Medicine, the authors point out a new motive for suicide--the effects of injuries caused by traffic accidents. In the first case paralysis was caused by fracture of chest vertebra while in the other three cases the cause of death was due to severe injuries of the skull and brain. The aim of this paper is to show the importance of psychomatic rehabilitation of the victims. (TRRL)
