A comparative analysis including considerations such as socio-political acceptability as well as economic feasibility finds that among competing systems for offshore transshipment of crude oil the concept of the Floating Stable Platform is the most desirable alternative. The stable platform can also provide on 4 acre upper deck enough space to warehouse pipe, stores, and supplied for a whole offshore field.
