THE STUTTGART S-BAHN THREE YEARS AFTER
DREI JAHRE S-BAHN-BETRIEB IN STUTTGART
Trains have been running on the Stuttgart S-Bahn since 1 October 1978. The network then consisted of 65 km of lines, but by 27 September 1981 had been extended to 133 km. Traffic has grown steadily over these first three years in operation and time keeping has been very good.
