A STANDARD COMPUTER-CONTROLLED OPERATING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC SHORT-DISTANCE TRANSPORT (BON)
STANDARDISIERTES RECHNERGESTEUERTES BETRIEBSLEITSYSTEM FUER DEN OEFFENTLICHEN NAHVERKEHR (BON)
The computerised operating control systems (RBL) are information and regulation systems; they do not include safety functions. The RBL system was introduced on an experimental basis in several towns for regular or occasional traffic. Research is being carried out in Hanover where the RETAX system for traffic on request and the RBL-H were tested on the S-Bahn. The objective is to develop an operating control system for universally useable public passenger transport systems (BON).
