PROPOSAL FOR A NEW TYPE OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR RAIL VEHICLES

VORSCHLAG FUER EINEN NEUARTIGEN FAHRWEG FUER SCHIENENFAHRZEUGE

The author describes the characteristics of ballastless track with a new design of supporting slab that can be used in open country, in tunnels, on bridges and for metro lines. Road vehicles would also be able to use this infrastructure and, as a result, road and rail service combinations would be possible.
