TESTING METHODS FOR TIMBER
The author discusses the problems arising during the utilization of wood for structural frameworks: the effect of load duration, of moisture content, anisotropic characteristics, and classification. Details are given of the recommendations concerning test methods for joints, for wood used in structures, and for structural-quality plywood used in frameworks. (TRRL)
