Energetical Investigations of the Tribology of Lubricating Greases
This paper is concerned with the study of grease reaction by tribological stress. This study investigated the friction process by using rheological and tribological experiments. For the estimation of the energy loss by shearing the grease, a theoretical model is presented. In addition to the friction behavior, the irreversible change of grease properties (degradation of structure) and a theoretical model is given.
