A COMPARISON OF SOME MODEL AND FULL SCALE HULL BOUNDARY LAYER MEASUREMENTS
The paper is divided into four main parts. The first reviews a number of established facts about turbulent boundary layers. The next deals with some model tests, and the following section presents theoretical results for the boundary layer on smooth hull at model and ship scales. The final section discusses full-scale results in relation to the model and theoretical results.
