TECHNIQUES FOR IMPROVING THE RAILROAD MAINTENANCE-OF-WAY EQUIPMENT EVALUATION PROCESS
This report presents the results of a study of techniques for improving the railroad maintenance-of-way equipment evaluation process. The approach involved a review of existing methods, interviews with equipment manufacturers and railroads, discussions with industry representatives, and an equipment reliability study.
