A GLOBAL ANALYSIS OF THE ESTIMATED ACCIDENT DATA OF 1980
GLOBALE BESCHRIJVING VAN DE DEFINITIEVE VERKEERSONGEVALLENGEGEVENS OVER HET GEHELE JAAR 1980
This global analysis of accident data in the Netherlands during 1980 is mainly descriptive and is concerned with the number of fatalities, but it also aims to highlight the wanted and unwanted effects in traffic. In consequence of this, it is possible to act much earlier than before. The number of traffic fatalities in 1980 was 1997 which is an increase of 1%. The number of injured people was 56623 which is almost the same as in 1979. It is difficult to compare the data of 1979 and 1980 due to the very bad weather circumstances during the first quarter of 1979. (TRRL)
