The purpose of this report is to put together and develop a "bank" of knowledge of how facilities for loading and unloading of goods in existing urban environment can be improved. Technical measures and urban planning are primarily treated but also organisational means to achieve improvements, i.e. by cooperation through sharing loading bays between several shops. (TRRL)
