Integration Planning and Application of Soft Foundation Road Sections in Coastal Areas

Due to the non-uniformity and long-term settlement of soft foundation sections, the pavement maintenance planning in coastal areas has problems. Taking the road maintenance planning in coastal areas as the starting point, the paper selected an expressway in Ningbo, Zhejiang province as the supporting project. Based on the maintenance history of road condition in recent years, the probability distribution of road condition index data over the years was analyzed, taking into account the annual cumulative equivalent axle load growth and the decline of road condition index. The paper carries out pavement damage maintenance planning and engineering planning. The results showed that soft foundation sections with different settlement levels should be divided into different types and stages according to the history of soft foundation treatment over the years, and the performance attenuation of roadbed condition should be considered.
