CONCENTRATED APPROACHES AND NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN MATERIALS IN THE FIELD OF ROAD MARKING

CONVERGENCE ET DEVELOPPEMENTS NOUVEAUX EN MATIERE DE MARQUAGE

In the report of February 1975 "Road Marking and Delineation" prepared by an OECD road research group is recommended an international standardisation of field and laboratory tests. A step toward this goal would consist in the possibility of carrying out trials available in any country by using a restricted number of testing apparatus which should be recognized everywhere and previously standardized. The second part of the speech sets out some new developments in road marking which have been noticeable since the report issue. (TRRL)
